In Spanish the Itsy Bitsy Spider can be called "La itzi bitzi araña" but it also may be found with other titles as well. The first year I began teaching music in Spanish, this was one of the first songs I taught. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure how I translated it or figured out that version. I just sang it! It's been over 4 years and I have no idea how this never caught my attention but I sing it wrong! Of course, I've heard many songs where the accent of a certain syllable is not stressed in the song as it would be when you are speaking, but wow, I was really caught off guard when I realized this! Can YOU tell where I sang it incorrectly??? It's definitely too late to change, and I do like it the way it is, and I do like the video, and I do continue to sing it that way for some reason!! But .... I guess all I have to say it "oh well!"
Enjoy my new video of the Itsy Bitsy Spider in Spanish. This is a great tool for learning spanish, to keep your child still for 30 seconds, or to enjoy some cute animation! Whatever reason, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
