Growing up, my folks did not play music in the house much, but my Dad had his share of cassette tapes in the car. Rocky Horror was one of the soundtracks I listened to wayyyy before I realized I shouldn't have been listening to it. Then there was Jesus Christ Superstar - Hair, and Cats (that I was never too fond of) but it was the tube that had a greater influence on my music taste. I have to thank him for having cable in the house - because if it weren't there - I wouldn't have enjoyed some of these:

- I'm a mom, a musician, and a teacher. I currently work as a substitute teacher at Arts High in Los Angeles, and as a children's music teacher at Alhambra School of Music, Tapia Family Day Care, Yoga at the Village, and at Brand Park through the City of Glendale. I studied piano at the LA County High School for the Arts, then studied Jazz in college, and later played organ for a Roots Reggae band and led a children's choir for 4 years. I learned to play the accordion, and now play guitar for my classes. I currently hold a California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and also a SIngle Subject Credential in English.
